As a consultant, author, and public speaker, Mal Warwick has been involved in the not-for-profit sector for more than 40 years. He is the founder and chairman of Mal Warwick Associates, a fundraising and marketing agency that has served nonprofit organizations since 1979, and founded or cofounded three other companies that provide fundraising services to nonprofits throughout the country, including Response Management Technologies. With Ben Cohen of Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream, Warwick is the coauthor of Values-Driven Business: How to Change the World, Make Money, and Have Fun (Berrett-Koehler Publishers, 2006). This newest of his 18 books reflects his long history promoting social and environmental responsibility in the nationwide business community. With Cohen and others, he was a cofounder of Business for Social Responsibility in 1992 and served on its board during its inaugural year. In 2001, he was elected to the board of the Social Venture Network and has served as its chair since 2002.
