We are thrilled to announce that Chip Conley has accepted our invitation to deliver the Keynote speech at Boot Camp this year!

Chip is the author of ‘PEAK: How Great Companies Get Their Mojo from Maslow’, and founder and CEO of Joie de Vivre Hospitality, the second largest boutique hotelier in the world. Chip is a masterful public speaker, and will share his remarkable personal story and expertise in both building business around community and building motivated communities within and around business.

From humble beginnings, Joie De Vivre has grown into California’s largest boutique hotel collection with a singular goal to create landmark destinations full of soul and personality, paying close attention to their relationships with four key audiences: employees, guests, owners and their local community.

Since opening The Phoenix Hotel in the Tenderloin district of San Francisco in 1987, Chip Conley has been highly involved in the communities in which his hotels are located, setting each hotel an annual local donation goal, and planning regular service events for Joie De Vivre staff to volunteer their time to local organizations.

A firm believer in Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs and creating a self-actualized life, he will suggest how these principles have been applied to his career in leadership, and offer inspiration as to how to apply these lessons to your own lives and communities.

Our thanks go to Chip for accepting our invitation, and to all of our speakers for helping build such a dynamic and exciting schedule this year. This is the cherry on a mighty sweet cake!
